The 2021 Land Rover Range Rover Velar is one of the few luxury SUVs with real off-road talent to back up its tailoring. Hardly surprising, since most of the other luxury SUVs that share this attribute are also Range Rovers. And although such ability may never be called upon, it’s cool that everyone knows it’s there.
The Velar should probably be described as a compact SUV since it’s bigger than the little Evoque and smaller than the midsize Range Rover Sport.
