2021 Isuzu D-Max recalled with roof rack fault

The fault could cause roof racks to become loose or detached while loaded, according to the manufacturer.

Isuzu Australia has recalled 98 examples of its 2021 Isuzu D-Max ute, citing a roof rack fault.

The affected vehicles are stamped Model Year 2021.

The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “The internal bracing upper mounts for the Genuine Isuzu Canopy Roof Rack may not meet the manufacturing specifications, should the mount become loose or detached it could result in damage to the canopy shell if remained undetected.
