The first hybrid Subaru Forester isn’t quite what you might have expected

No matter what segment of the market you’re shopping in, being able to choose a hybrid option has to be a good thing, right? The first petrol-electric Subaru Forester adds a new dimension to an already-commendable mid-size SUV with the promise of improved fuel economy and performance. It might be well short of wild, but it brings some weaponry to help Subaru grab a share of the steadily growing group of customers who are choosing hybrid technology.
