The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray recently made its debut in mid-July, but Chevy had one more trick up its sleeve for its 8th generation ‘Vette. Enter the new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, the latest and greatest iteration of Chevrolet’s iconic open-air sports car. Surrounded by retired rockets and astronauts, the C8 Corvette Convertible was unveiled at Kennedy Space Center in front of a few hundred gob-smacked journalists and automotive professionals, an appropriate locale for a sports car inspired by fighter jets and packing enough horsepower chutzpah to seemingly achieve low earth orbit.
