2019 Morgan Plus Six Is a Higher Tech Window to the Past

A modern turbo engine and other updates take little away from the latest Morgan’s antique character.

New Morgans don’t come along very often. And they don’t need to. The English sports-car company has made a virtue out of its reluctance to change, one that has kept it in steady business for more than a century. Morgans are still made by hand at the company’s Malvern Link factory in Worcestershire, with the chance to watch aluminum panels being formed by hand and fitted to wooden frames having turned the site into a tourist attraction. In the Morgan 4/4 the company is still selling a car that remains substantially unchanged since 1936.
