Long, sleek, comfortable and comfortably fast; welcome to BMW’s new sports flagship

The even quicker new BMW M8 is yet to come, but ripping to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds isn’t lollygagging for a mainline BMW. The new BMW 8 Series Coupe is shorter, better looking, easier to drive and faster than the 6 Series it replaces, and the M850i is the range-topper – so far. And it’s a terrific (if heavy) machine, capable of delivering everything the looks promise.
