2018 Volkswagen T-Roc Review

Remember back in 2014 when Volkswagen put the T-Roc Concept on display at the Geneva auto show? Well, you would be crazy if you didn’t because it was actually one of the few VW concepts that we could actually appreciate. It even featured a removable roof that would put it in the business of competing with models like the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet and the Range Rover Evoque Cabrio. Now, we’re looking at spy shotsof a production model, and while it does look like VW has managed to preserve a fair amount of the concept’s design (at least more than most manufacturers would have, anyway), it doesn’t look like it’s going to have that removable roof panel. Which is, suffice it to say, a shame. We don’t know much else about the T-Roc at the moment, but it should have similar dimensions to the concept and will likely be offered with a range of engines that include a three-cylinder good for just over 100 ponies, and a few four-cylinder offerings that could deliver up to as much as 250 horsepower if a GTI variant, which is possible, graces the marketplace.
