2018 Kia Stinger: Australian specs and features revealed

Australian buyers now have a clearer view of the features they can be expect to find in the new 2018 Kia Stinger, with the company this week highlighting key equipment items.

This latest drop follows the release in early August of pricing for the 3.3-litre turbo V6 models, which will see the 272kW/510Nm sedan kick off from below $50,000. Catch that story here.

Today, the company has handed down details that confirm the veracity of our June story, based off a leaked dealer bulletin obtained by a CarAdvice reader.

Full range details are still to come, but today’s release confirms the entry model in the 3.3-litre line – the Stinger S – will pack solid value.

Standard kit for the Stinger S will include 18-inch wheels shod with 225/45R18 Continental ContiSport Contact 5 rubber, which means we could see four-cylinder models open with either the same hoops or a smaller design.
