Sony has announced its new full-frame telephoto lenses: the FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS and FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS prime.
The FE 200-600 F5.6-6.3 G OSS has 24 elements, including aspherical and extra-low dispersion glass. The lens focuses and zooms internally, has 11 aperture blades and uses a Direct Drive SSM autofocus motor. The minimum focus distance is 2.4m (< 8 feet) and the maximum magnification is 0.2x. The 200-600 is 318mm (1ft) long and weighs in at 2.1kg (4.9lbs) without its tripod foot attached.
