Olympus introduces lightweight 12-45mm F4 Pro lens

Olympus has introduced the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm F4 Pro, a premium standard zoom lens for Micro Four Thirds. The lens is remarkably compact; it’s 70mm (2.8″) long and weighs just 254 grams (9 ounces). The 12-45 is also weather-sealed, to IPX1 standards, something that very few lenses can claim. For the sake of comparison, Olympus’s 12-40mm F2.8 Pro is 84mm (3.3″) long and weighs 382 grams (13.5oz) but is a stop faster.
