Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Pro Lens Hands-On

We go hands-on with the new Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Pro lens made for Nikon’s full-frame Z system, and due for release in April.

Nikon are showing the Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Pro lens at The Photography Show, 2019, at the Birmingham, NEC.

Due for release in April, the lens extends when you use the zoom, and features an OLED display on top of the lens that can show you the exact focal length, the focus distance (for manual focus), and the aperture of the lens. The lens also has an L-Fn (function) button on the side, as well as an A/M focus switch. The lens feels very well built, and has a smooth zoom action.

The lens is part of the Nikon lens roadmap, and is designed to work with the new Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7.
