The Canon EOS R3 was recently revealed in a surprise ‘development announcement’ from the camera giant – and while the initial details are pretty sparse, some recent rumors have started to flesh out this exciting camera’s possible specs.
Here’s the official blueprint for the EOS R3: Canon says it will be a “high-performance professional camera” that will introduce a “new category to the EOS R system” and will be “positioned squarely between the EOS R5 and EOS-1D X Mark III cameras”.
That means it’ll combine 1D-series build quality with speedy 30fps burst shooting when you use its electronic shutter, potentially equalling the record speeds of the Sony A1.
