If you’ve ever had trouble understanding the voices on your TV, you might have tried turning the volume up a bunch — only to find that it doesn’t make the dialogue any more decipherable. Sometimes all the booming music and sound effects can drown out the speaking, and that’s something you definitely don’t want if you’re watching big events like the Super Bowl.
