It’s rare that we see soundbars in the sub-$200 range, particularly 2.1 systems with wireless subwoofers. The $129.99 Vizio 2.1 SB2021n-G6 is well below $200, which makes you wonder: Why is it so inexpensive? For starters, there’s no HDMI connectivity. Then there are sonic issues—in music mode, the SB2021n-G6 sometimes suffers from distortion, even on tracks that shouldn’t cause it. The system fares better for watching movies, but it delivers an exaggerated bass bonanza, and is not for anyone seeking an accurate listening experience. Simply put, there are more compelling options available.
