With a lot of people stuck at home because of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s no surprise that game console sales have gone through the roof – or at least increased to the point where the supply can no longer keep up with demand. Indeed, the standard Nintendo Switch seems to be sold out near everywhere you look. Part of this is down to interruptions in Nintendo’s supply chain because of the outbreak, but we certainly wouldn’t be surprised to learn that available stock has sold through much faster than anticipated because of various stay at home orders handed down by elected officials.
