Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC review

Do you yearn for some quiet time? Acknowledging the fact that many of us have to live, work and travel in chaotic surroundings these days, the Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC headphones are an effort to create the most affordable noise-cancelling headphones yet. Happily, they also sound great with music and movies.

And while the Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNCs are clearly aimed at travellers, their price point – around £170 (US$200, AUS$299) – puts them well within the reach of anyone after some mid-range headphones.

Considering that the market leaders, the Bose QuietComfort 35s, cost £330 (US$350, AUS$499) and the Sony MDR-1000Xs go for £289 (US$350, AUS$588), the significantly cheaper Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNCs are a tempting proposition indeed – especially as they offer almost identical features to those two main rivals.
