What is the Panasonic EZ1002?
The Panasonic EZ1002, as it’s called in the UK, or EZ1000 elsewhere is their latest flagship Ultra HD OLED TV, replacing the CZ952. This new model uses a flat OLED 4K panel, with an increased peak brightness and a wider colour gamut (WCG). The TX-65EZ1002B has a 65-inch screen size with an absolute black filter that is designed to reduce ambient light and reflections. Panasonic have also included their Studio Colour HCX2 processor with professional grade look-up tables and the EZ1002 supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) – specifically HDR 10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG). Panasonic have also added a soundbar tuned by Technics and the latest version of their My Home Screen 2.0smart TV platform.
The EZ1000 is intended to be a semi-professional product that will not only be available to consumers but also be used in post-production facilities and at events such as the Cannes Film Festival.
