Nakamichi Shockwafe Elite 7.2.4 Review

Posted on February 13, 2020August 27, 2023 By Wolverine

If you are looking for a soundbar with two subwoofers we would be more than happy to recommend the Shockwafe ELITE 7.2 SSE DTS:X/Atmos. It is designed to give you realistic surround effects thanks its subwoofers and the pair of 2-way rear speakers. The subwoofers were designed to while the dual subwoofers reproduce the effect of multi-subwoofer effect you can experience in cinemas. Thanks to the Shockwafe Elite 7.2 system high-quality home theater experience is now on a completely new level.

The SSE (Spatial Surround Elevation) Technology will provide an unforgettable surround sound performance. Any audio material will come in full detail, and the overall directionality and spaciousness are heavily enhanced thanks to the three cutting-edge surround sound technologies which work in perfect harmony.

For the first time in the industry we can see dual 8” wireless subwoofers. They will definitely make the bass effects incredible and play a key role in providing the ideal cinema experience. As experts say, if you want to build your high-end home theatre then two subwoofers are a must.

Another thing the Shokwafe Elite 7.2.4 has to offer for the first time in the industry are the two 2-way rear speakers. The surround sound has never been so spacious and dynamic as it is now thanks to these speakers. Each of these speakers comes with a tweeter which deals with high frequencies and a full range driver designed to make the surround sound precise and powerful. To be honest, the surround sound coming from virtual 2.1 or 5.1 systems can’t be compared to this one in any way.

If you are worried about the connections, this system has it all. The available inputs allow you to connect 6 devices:

  • 1 Optical
  • 1 Coaxial
  • 3 HDMI (v2.0)
  • 1 HDMI ARC

The remote will impress you with the design and ease of use. The remote comes with 52 keys perfectly organized and the backlight makes it easier to use is specific light situations. You can control all the inputs and also the volume of each channel individually. The room size optimizations work with no problems. And finally, a great feature is the Bluetooth aptX which greatly improves the audio quality delivered to the unit wirelessly.
