Google revealed the original Nest Hub – formerly Home Hub – smart display back in 2018. The 7-inch Google Assistant-enabled device was then followed up by the larger Nest Hub Max in 2019, offering a bigger screen and the addition of a Nest Cam.
With three years having passed, it isn’t surprising to see Google announce a successor to the Nest Hub. The current Nest Hub is still a great device but the second generation adds several improvements and features, even if it retains a very similar design.
