The new Echo Dot looks and sounds better for the same price. What’s not to like?

Pros
  • Huge improvement to audio quality
  • Smart new design
  • Same competitive price
Cons
  • Alexa is still not as smart as Google Assistant

The old adage that if it ain’t broke, you shouldn’t attempt to fix it is one that Amazon has cheerfully ignored over the years. The original Kindle still works perfectly well, but Amazon has honed the ebook format into both the first and last words in the industry. And that’s what it’s now doing with the smart speaker, one device at a time.
