Last week the Jets benched struggling quarterback Zach Wilson, the second overall pick from two years ago, in favor of backup Mike White. He went out and threw for over 300 yards, with three touchdowns, in his first start of the year, to beat the Bears. The win moved the Jets to 7-4 — squarely in the AFC playoff hunt.
