The Nissan Qashqai is consistently among the best-selling cars in the UK. In fact, more than 64,000 were sold in 2017 alone. And it’s easy to see why the Qashqai is so popular – it is, after all, the car that kick-started the current revolution for small SUVs and made buyers realise that they could have the looks and practicality of an SUV without their traditionally high running costs. It’s a former What Car? Car of the Year, too.

These days, the Qashqai faces plenty of competition, most notably from the Seat Ateca and Volkswagen Tiguan. But, as our 16-point review explains, the Qashqai is still thoroughly recommendable.
