Moto Guzzi V7 II Stornello – FIRST RIDE REVIEW

When Moto Guzzi unveiled the updated V7 II at EICMA in 2014, they also revealed three kits created to offer V7 II owners the possibility to customize their bikes. The “Scrambler” kit was the most popular and for good reason, as it injected a more extrovert personality into the Moto Guzzi V7 II, with its high exhaust and moderate enduro capability at an affordable price.

Moto Guzzi’s V7 II Stornello comes from the factory with accessories that turn it into a scrambler-style bike.

I was invited by Moto Guzzi to its shop in Mandello del Lario to try my hands at the installation of the kit, and I must say that it was fairly easy and fun. The kit is high quality, well executed, and even more importantly, is fully homologated so its installation won’t trigger any backfire with the authorities.
