If you have a family member that really isn’t that tech-savvy, but wants to explore that new world, you really can’t go wrong with a Chromebook. You really can’t mess anything up with it, as the UI is very simple and most of the work is done inside the Chrome browser. Of course, Google is expanding the capabilities of ChromeOS, but so far, it is way more simplified than a Windows machine.
