Fujifilm’s GFX 100, GFX 100S can now capture 12-bit Blackmagic RAW via HDMI with Blackmagic recorders

As it announced it would during its X Summit Prime 2021 event last month, Fujifilm has released updates for its GFX 100 and GFX 100S medium format cameras that brings the ability to capture Blackmagic RAW video up to DCI 4K 30 frames per second (fps) when paired with a compatible Blackmagic recorder.

Back in June 2020, the Fujifilm GFX 100 received a firmware update that enabled it to capture ProRes RAW video over HDMI when paired with Atomos’ Ninja V recorder. This capability was passed on to the GFX 100S, which was announced in early 2021.
