Unlike many expensive true wireless models, the $299 HiFiMan TWS800 earphones lack an extensive feature list, without a companion app, adjustable EQ, or active noise cancellation, and with only a modest water-resistance rating. Ostensibly, the high price here is for quality audio performance, which these earphones certainly deliver, with a lovely balance, natural-sounding lows, and detailed highs. That said, most casual listeners will likely be better served by a wire-free pair that costs less or does more.
