The WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD is the latest edition to the company’s portfolio of high-performance drives specifically catered to the gaming demographic. As such, the need for speedy storage is more important than ever with the growing complexity of game design; especially with the release of the newest generation of consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, both of which leverage the PCIe Gen4 interface (though the PS5 is the only one that supports 3rd-party drives).
