The 2021 Toyota Sienna debuts at a time when only the best minivans survive. There used to be a ton of minivans: Buick, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Mazda, Mercury, Nissan, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Pontiac, Saturn and Volkswagen all had a minivan for sale at one point. Back when minivan sales topped 1 million vehicles a year, it kind of made sense. Today, there are just a handful of minivans that seriously merit consideration by families.
