Huawei launches MatePad 10.8 and Enjoy 2 tablets, TalkBand B6 and a kid’s smartwatch

This time it’s on purpose – the MatePad 10.8 official, which was spotted yesterday, is now officially official and there’s a surprise, a second tablet. The company also revealed a new talk band and a children’s smartwatch. Let’s have a look.

Huawei MatePad 10.8

The tablet uses a 10.8” IPS LCD with 2,560 x 1,600 px (that works out to 280 ppi pixel density). The display supports the M-Pencil stylus, alternatively you can also attach a keyboard add-on if you prefer to type rather than write.

The Huawei MatePad 10.8 is powered by the flagship Kirin 990 chipset. It’s paired with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage by default, but you can upgrade to 128 GB too (or just put a microSD card in the slot). The tablet runs the Android 10-based EMUI 10.1 out of the box.
