The premium appearance of the 13-inch Chuwi CoreBook Pro is hiding some dated specs, but at least the price seems fair. Surprisingly enough, this model integrates a quality 3:2 IPS screen with 2160 x 1440 resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut, but apart from this, the hardware specs are so 2016, with an Intel Core i3-6157U CPU, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 256 GB SSD.
Chinese OEM Chuwi is known for its more unusual laptop models, and the latest CoreBook Pro that’s expected to launch on July 21 is no exception. This particular model appears to have a somewhat premium build, but the internal specs and the price are telling a totally different story.
The more premium features include a stylish aluminum case with a quality 13.2-inch IPS display that has 3:2 aspect ratio, 2160 x 1440 resolution and boasts 100% sRGB color gamut. Since it comes in a more “exotic” size, the CoreBook Pro weighs only 2.95 pounds.
