Huawei Mate 40: Everything we know about Huawei’s next flagship

It’s summer now, which means we’re getting closer to the rumoured Huawei Mate 40. The Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro successor is expected to launch this autumn and we’ve already heard a number of whispers about what might be in store for the flagship this year. Here’s everything we know about the Huawei Mate 40 so far.

We’re excited for this smartphone, as the Mate series is where Huawei tends to show off its latest and greatest technology. This year we’re expecting a brand new 5nm processor and even faster charging skills from the flagship phablet line.

The most pressing question for Huawei is whether we’ll see the return of Google apps this year. Last year, the Mate 30 shipped out with a limited version of the Android operating system and the lack of access to Google apps definitely put a dampener on the release.
