2021 Jaguar F-Type Review

The 2021 Jaguar F-Type is a modern version of the E-Type, one of the sexiest English sports cars from the 1960s. Available as a hardtop coupe or a convertible with a power-folding fabric top, the Jaguar F-Type ranges from a rear-wheel-drive P300 model with 296 horsepower to the scaldingly fast all-wheel-drive F-Type R with 575 hp. In between is the P380 R-Dynamic model, powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 380 hp.

This a 2-seater grand touring sports car with several great class contenders, but few of them have the character of this Jag, let alone its poise, precision and suppleness. The F-Type also deftly blends classic visceral thrills with a modern suite of advanced safety technology.

The F-Type’s competitors are many. Four worth considering are the Porsche 718 Cayman and Porsche 718 Boxster, along with the Porsche 911 Turbo and the new Chevrolet Corvette.
