2020 Mercedes E350 Blends Entry-Level and E-Class

The bottom of the E-class range now sports a higher number on the trunklid and a little more power.

With few exceptions, the badging on the back of most Mercedes-Benz models hasn’t related to engine displacement in more than a decade. So, the E350 badge on the back of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-class sedan doesn’t mean there’s a 3.5-liter anything under the hood. However, the E350 does wear a larger number than the outgoing E300 and replaces it at the bottom of the current W213-generation E-class lineup. The new, higher number indicates that there have been changes to the engine under the hood.
