Economy desktop shoppers are looking for the best value, and we’ve picked the cream of the current crop. The Acer Aspire TC-885-UA92 ($548.57) represents the best combination of price, build, and performance of any budget desktop PC we’ve tested in 2020, including a slew of recent contenders from HP and Lenovo. Some alternatives cost slightly less, but the Aspire outperforms both those and some more expensive competitors while still hitting the price sweet spot. There is virtually nothing to complain about for the cost, as its peppy Intel Core i5-9400 CPU, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB solid-state drive will have you zipping through your daily home tasks as quickly as it zipped to an Editors’ Choice in the category.
