Aorus 7 SA Review

Gigabyte’s Aorus 7 SA ($1,299 as tested) gaming laptop is the latest example of its elite Aorus gaming brand branching into the mainstream. This 17.3-incher combines a 144Hz display, a six-core Intel Core i7 processor, and a 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card for smooth fragging in the latest games and esports, and it has enough space to hold them all thanks to its dual storage drives. That said, this laptop’s all-plastic design and a lack of high-end features keep it from standing out in a crowded market. MSI’s GL75 offers similar hardware for less, while Lenovo’s Legion Y740 (17-inch) packs better performance and more advanced features for not much more money, remaining our top pick for a mainstream 17.3-inch gamer.
