Intel Xe GPU: Intel’s DG1 graphics card performance seems underwhelming

Intel has long championed its upcoming graphics architecture – Intel Xe – which looks set to challenge the likes of AMD and Nvidia. However, initial leaks suggest Intel is far off the pace in terms of dedicated graphics cards. 

Intel Xe will feature a revolutionary scalable design, reportedly allowing it to work across desktop PC, laptops and even supercomputers. This would remove the need to create entirely separate graphics architecture for consumer and prosumer markets, which the likes of Nvidia currently do.
