2020 Cadillac XT5 vs. 2020 Cadillac XT6: What’s the Difference?

Over the course of just two years, Cadillac went from a car-heavy lineup to one loaded with crossovers and SUVs. Its XT4, XT5, and XT6 models share a lot more than just the first two letters of their names.

The XT5 was first on the scene, and it was initially called the Cadillac SRX. A 2017 remake saw the rename to XT5 plus big upgrades inside, outside and underneath. For 2020, the XT5 spawned the XT6, which is largely the same vehicle underneath, but the length stretches the better part of a foot farther and comes with three rows of seats.
