The Core i5-1035G7 is a great performer. The latter proves to us all that it’s faster than i7-8650U which is a strong and expensive 14nm CPU. So, a current-gen Core i5 can beat Kaby Lake Core i7 with ease but what about the previous-gen Core i5 processors?

To answer the question we “brought” an i5-8265U which is a Whiskey Lake CPU that still has a good amount of processing power under the hood.
