The 2020 Genesis G90 is the Luxury Sedan for Eisenhower Voters

The G90 continues to chase a definition of luxury that might be going out of style, but still has merit in a crossover world.

The Genesis G90 is conservative. It’s restrained, unfussy, solid, stolid, and confident in its own bedrock values. The sort of large luxury sedan that’d be aimed at Eisenhower voters who wear plain cloth coats and switched to Lexus three decades ago. It’s a sedan for people who don’t want to draw undue attention to themselves. And for the 2020 model year, the G90 has undergone a significant update for the first time since its introduction as a 2017 model. It’s a low-key renovation that’s sure to attract buyers who are now ready to boldly face the cultural turmoil of the 1960s.
