RTX 2070 is a very good performer in the mobile segment. Cheaper than RTX 2080, but at the same time delivers enough performance for a 1080p 144Hz monitor.
This is the same GPU (TU106, 12 nm FinFET) as the desktop version with 2304 shaders, a 256-bit interface, 8 GB GDDR6 memory, and the same memory clock speed – 14000 MHz. Only the core has a bit downclocked frequencies – around 10% to 13% lower base and boost clock (1215 MHz – 1440 MHz). The TDP of the mobile RTX 2070 is 115W.
