Daimler’s next Porsche 911 rival to offer near-hypercar levels of acceleration via hybrid V8

The second-generation Mercedes-AMG GT will offer buyers all-wheel drive and near-hypercar levels of acceleration when it goes on sale in 2021, it has been revealed.

Until now the Mercedes-AMG GT has been strictly rear-drive, but that will change with the all-new replacement according to Autocar.
