Just when we thought the premium noise-cancelling headphone market couldn’t get any more intense – with the Award-winning Sony WH-1000XM3s facing a battle to retain its class-leading title in light of Bose and Sennheiser newcomers – in bursts yet another contender, this time in the shape of the Bowers & Wilkins PX7s.

Revealed yesterday at a launch event in London, alongside the PX5 on-ears and two pairs of sporty wireless earbuds, B&W’s new flagship noise-cancellers come two years after its first (and five-star) efforts, the PXs.
