ZombieLoad, a bug in every Intel CPU since 2011, opens many PCs, Macs and Chromebooks to attack from spyware. Fortunately, all you need to do to protect yourself is to update your Chromebook, or at least make sure the latest available updates are installed.

Because Chromebooks often update themselves in the background, without you knowing, your system may already be prepared for the creepily-named flaw. But if, for some reason it isn’t, the good news it that it only takes 10 steps to update Chrome OS machines.
