Hey Kicker, now its the time to feature another Dual OS tablet, Onda V820w which is an 8 inched tablet PC powered with Windows 10 and Android 4.4. In my previous review of Onda V919 and teclast X98 I foundOnda V919 to perform a little better than the teclast X98. Now its time for a new gadget of Onda family. It’s Onda V820w which is lower mid range tablet that will cost you around $100 and with these $100 you can have some great features. The tablet is powered with Intel Z3735F Quad Core 1.3 GHz processorwhich is pretty cool considering the price range of this tablet. So lets have a look at the features and specifications of this tablet.[quick_offer]

Display and Design

Onda V820w has a screen size of 8 inch which is a really small screen size considering the average screen size of the tablets. You can be disappointed with the screen size of this tablet as I do.

Anyway lets move further, the 8 inch screen has a WXGA IPS screen display which can’t compete with the HD display. I really don’t find its display to be much attractive and it could be a big CON of this tablet.

So if you are a big screen lover then this tablet is not for you, but at the same time the price of this tablet is $103 (Everbuying) so you might neglect the cons if you are having a limited budget. Lets move on to the design of Onda V820w.

The build quality is a little better, there is no physical navigation button on the front face of this tablet. You’ll only find a front facing camera of 0.3 MP and a proximity sensor. The design is very basic and is not really bad. On the right edge you’ll find a power button and the volume rocker keys, there’s nothing on the left edge of the tablet.

On the back there’s a rear camera of 2.0 MP and a company logo. The design is pretty decent though the body is made up of plastic.

As I have already told you, this tablet has an Intel Z3735F chip that has 4 core 1.3 GHz processor. You’ll get 4 cores in $100, the tablet has 2 GB of RAM and a huge internal memory considering the price- 32 GB of ROM. The internal memory of this tablet is great and might be the biggest positive point.

The tablet don’t lag much and you can easily switch the OS. Switching the OS is also pretty easy and you won’t find any difficulty of lag during the OS switching. You can run Windows apps and play Android games on a single tablet. This dual OS feature of Onda V280w can make your life easy. The Windows 10 which comes preinstalled in the tablet is actually activated.

Though it might lag during heavy multi tasking but that should not occur with the average user. 2 GB of RAM along with quad core processor should be a good deal in $100.

Camera & Battery

The camera performance of this tablet isn’t much great and so do the battery performance. The battery tends to drain very fast and won’t last much longer. So you might need to carry an additional power bank to keep the tablet live. The tablet has only a battery capacity of 4200 mAh. I think they should have provided the tablet with a little more battery capacity. Now moving on the camera again, the front facing camera is 0.3 MP and is worst. It has no use as it takes worst quality pictures. So you can assume it has only a rear camera of 2.0 MP which is pretty fine.

If you have a limited budget and wants a full featured pack tablet then you can go for it. It even has a HDMI output port. With decent processor and big internal memory I’ll recommend you only if your budget is low.
