For years, the $400 Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 stood out as the golden standard for noise cancellation, with most of the competition coming in at a lower price. While we initially sneered at the $550 pricing of Apple’s AirPods Max, they ultimately earned our respect (and a four-star rating) by outperforming the Bose headphones in certain regards. With that in mind, we expected V-Moda’s $500 M-200 ANC headphones to similarly offer some form of improvement to make them worth the $100 premium over the Bose model.
