JBL’s JR 460 NC headphones ($79.95) offer a feature that is becoming increasingly common for the category: active noise cancellation (ANC). It itsn’t terribly effective, but that doesn’t change the fact that the audio here has a bass-boosted signature that sounds fuller than many of the other kids’ headphones we test; and like most of those pairs, the JR 460’s volume maxes out at 85dB for safe listening. The headphones fit well and are easy to operate, too.
