Amazfit Stratos review : Round, rugged and ready to do it all – but can it stick the landing?

The Amazfit Stratos promises the world, but the reality is a bag of accomplishments and frustrations. We’re impressed with what Huami is offering for $200, but that’s not to say it all works great. The partnership with Firstbeat means it’s got fitness features usually seen on pricier wearables, but so much is let down by a God-awful UI and some inaccuracies. Huami is still updating the Stratos with updates – hopefully it will get better with time.

Xiaomi sub-brand Huami has been on a roll these past few months, and the Amazfit Stratos continues a growing line of wearables that match competition on specs – and sometimes copy design outright – but undercut on price.
