Apple to finally fix 13-year-old error in the iPad’s design, report claims

There’s an important and long-desired change coming to Apple’s iPad range, and it’s been more than a decade in the making. The second-gen iPad, which came out in 2011, was the first model with cameras. This included a front-facing camera, positioned on one of the short edges so it sat at the top when holding the device in portrait orientation. Perfect for selfies, but less ideal for video chats where the iPad is more commonly positioned in landscape mode.
