Rumors of the Sony Xperia Compact have abounded for years, since 2018’s Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact which was the last mini-mobile the company put out, but these rumors have hit fever point in 2021.

Many people are expecting the small-body Sony phone to come out alongside the Sony Xperia 1 III line in mid-2021, giving people top specs but in a small body.

Those people might be disappointed if one rumor is correct though, as a leaker thinks the Sony Xperia Compact will only launch in Japan, under a different name. Bad news for people who want a new easily-totable phone.
