A while ago, consumers would buy a smartphone for the brand, and not the product. But, with the Chinese incursion, it was getting harder and harder to turn down a high-specced phone for say, a relatively lower-end handset from a big-name brand. Fast forward a couple of years and Chinese OEMs have taken the market by storm, launching one compelling device after another.
